Circus!
That's what we've had at our house this week! I've been watching my friend's two kids while her babysitter took a vacation. It's been fun, but let me tell you I have such respect for people who run home daycare centers. I don't know how they do it. Every room of our house has toys strewn about and everytime I go to pick them up, the kids are right behind me getting something else out. Damon and Myles have really enjoyed having them here.
We are going on our own vacation ths weekend, leaving Sunday. We are all very excited about it, Myles especially. Today I was gathering together some clothes I need to pack and I told him not to mess them up b/c I we were going to take them with us to Tulsa (that's where we're going) and he started jumping around singing "We're going to Tulsa, we're going to Tulsa!" I'm excited to be going somewhere and to spend four days all together as a family.
A couple of weeks ago some surrounding communities close to us were devistated by tornados. Several people died and so many lost their homes and businesses. Please join us in praying for God's provision for them and for the Holy Spirit to comfort the families that lost loved ones.
Our computer has been broken for the past several days so I'm cramming alot of info all into one post. Our church is putting together a team for the Relay for Life. The Relay for Life in an annual fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. I don't really know anyone in my life who hasn't been effected by cancer in some way. It's such a devistating thing and I'm proud to be a part of helping the victim's of it. I'm going to be putting more info about this in the coming weeks but one thing I want to mention now is the luminaria bags. You can purchase a bag for $5 and decorate it anyway you want. It can be in honor of someone surviving or fighting cancer, or in memory of someone who died of cancer. On the night of the relay there will be a ceremony where lights are put into each bag and it's always very moving. If you want any more info about these bags please comment us. And like I said, I'll be putting more info on here shortly. Talk to you all later.
